Lady Dawgs All District Players

The 12-6A Volleyball Awards have been announced and several Lady Dawg volleyball players took away honors.

Chloe Tuiasosopo came away with the districts Most Valuable Blocker. She tallied 75 blocks during district play and 210 through out the season.  Chloe Tuiasosopo District 12-6A Most Valuable Blocker.  7 aces, 36.5% kill rate, 73 kills, 75 blocks, 201 season blocks.

Chloe ended the season ranked as the number two blocker in the state.


First team honors, besides Tuiasosopo, went the Outside Hitter Aaliyah Butler and Libero Leila Cooks.

Aaliyah Butler.  12-6A 1st Team All District Outside Hitter.  110 Kills. 39.4% Kill percentage.  46 Digs.  Leila Cooks.  12-6A 1st Team All District Libero.  15 Aces.  2.24 Pass Rating.  16 Kills.  68.3 Dig %.  231 Digs.


Second team members went to setter Jakhi Smith and Larisa Perez. Audrey Martin and Olivia Martinez rounded out the awards nabbing Honorable Mention honors.

Jakhi Smith.  12-6A 2nd Team All District Setter.  12 Aces, 266 Assists, 71.7 Dig%, 81 digs.  Larisa Perez.  12-6A 2nd Team All District OH/DS.  9 Aces, 68 Kills, 77.9 Dig%, 187 Digs.

Audrey Martin. 12-6A 2nd Team All District.  Setter.  9 Aces, 154 Assists, 65.5 Dig%, 74 Digs.  Olivia Mention.  12-6A 2nd Team A Middle Blocker.  10 Aces, 33 Kills, 60 Blocks, 20 Digs.


Nine of the LDVB players we also selected to the Academic All District team.  These girls maintained an A average during the volleyball season. Iliana Buitron, Aaliyah Butler, Leila Cooks, Christina Gaines, Audrey Martin, Jakhi Smith, Chloe Tuiasosopo, Taji Worlds, and Ashanti Wright all grabbed this honor.
