Cougar Football Finishes Perfect Season

The SC Lee 8th grade A Football team becomes back to back undefeated champ. Over the last two seasons these young men never lost a game. They finished their Jr. High careers with at 17-0 record. Below is a quote from their head coach Tyler Kelly. It's been an absolute privilege coaching this group over the last two years. They've set the standard both in the classroom and on the field since they started last year. This group had 13 student-athletes make the A/B honor roll during the first six weeks alone which is something that makes us as coach's just as proud as them going 17-0 over two years. It certainly wasn't easy for them either, they had the morning UIL period which meant 6:30 AM practices for them two years in a row but they never once complained. They truly epitomized what it means to be a student-athlete and I'm excited to watch them grow and compete at the next level.
