Don't forget, next week, classes will be competing in a penny war! Have your student bring in spare change and possibly win a pizza or popsicle party!
2 months ago, Taylor Gormley
Williams Ledger PTO 1, 2, 3, 4 We declare a Penny War. How it works: Students collect coins and bring to their homeroom! Each class' goal is to get as many positive points as they can! A rival class can add silver change to the opposing class to give them negative points! At the end of week, the change will be collected by the PTO and the class with the most points wins a pizza or popsicle party! All proceeds go to the WLE PTO and right back to your students! Starts 3/10 and ends 3/14. Positive Points: 1 penny= 1 point, $1= 100 points, $5= 500 points, $10= 1000 points. Negative Points: 1 nickel= -5 points, 1 dime= -10 points, 1 quarter= -25 points, 1 half dollar= -50 points.

We are currently experiencing a power outage to two of our campuses and have enacted our standard response protocol. Parents at S.C. Lee & Williams/Ledger, please check your email.
2 months ago, Copperas Cove ISD
Graphic with CCISD logo. SC Lee & Williams/Ledger parents, families and staff, On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at approximately 3:05 p.m., the administrations at S.C. Lee Jr. High School, Williams/Ledger Elementary School and the Copperas Cove Independent School District were notified that a car accident near the campus caused a power outage to the campus. Our campus immediately worked to implement our standard response protocol. While this power outage did disrupt the end of our normal school day, it did not pose a risk to our students. As a result of the accident, Courtney Lane is closed near FM 116, which is requiring CCISD buses and parents to take an alternate route to the campus to transport students home. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions for our campus. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you, Dr. Brent Hawkins, Superintendent of Schools, Copperas Cove ISD
